Pamela Mathias
Administrative Assistant
I love being an administrative assistant because I find the support role very fulfilling: I enjoy opportunities to help with new and exciting projects, and I love meeting interesting people along the way. I’m also happy to be working for an organization that aligns with my personal values, including creating a better community for my children and the people around me.
As far as my background goes, I grew up a country girl with horses and chickens in Anderson Valley. My mom raised me and my younger brothers in the home while my dad stayed busy with his real estate company. In my early 20s, I moved away to live in Montana and Wyoming. I also lived in Los Angeles where I worked downtown as an administrative assistant. After all that, I missed Mendocino County, so I moved back in 2010.
Now, in addition to working for Coursey Communications, I’m raising two beautiful girls with my partner, Earl. When I’m away from work, I enjoy paddle boarding on the lake, bike riding, and walking.

About Me
Spell checker
Pam always double checks to get it right.
Path smoother
While the rest of us are focused on the moment, Pam looks several steps ahead to smooth the path before we get there. It’s all about the little details that are, in fact, the things that get in your way.
Confidant
Pam is always willing to lend an ear and keep the information private. Having a supportive listener sure makes things better.
Memory bank
Because Pam isn’t naturally blessed with a great memory, she has overcompensated with organizational skills. If we need to find something, we ask Pam.
Silver lining finder
Pam sees the bright side. While others sometimes get lost in what doesn’t work, Pam looks for what does. In tough situations, her positive and pragmatic approach keeps things on track.
Care taker
Pam’s awareness of others’ needs and her desire to help make her a wonderful support to all who know her.
